The SMS Category includes the following Program Settings.

Response to Invalid Keyword

The Response to Invalid Keyword Program Setting is used in a default SMS Keyword that comes installed in every Loyalty account. This Keyword is intended to respond to Members who text an invalid phrase to your Short Code. The Program Setting lets you define the content of the reply message.

To configure this Program Setting:

1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Response to Invalid Keyword setting.

2. In the Value field, enter the content of the text message that the platform will send to a Member if they send an invalid keyword to your Short Code. The default message is: "Your account is not eligible for this service," but you can optionally enter a different message.

3. Click Save.

Response to Unrecognized Keyword

The Response to Unrecognized Keyword Program Setting is used in a default SMS Keyword that comes installed in every Loyalty account. This Keyword is intended to respond to Members who text an unknown phrase to your Short Code. The Program Setting lets you define the content of the reply message.

To configure this Program Setting:

1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Response to Unrecognized Keyword setting.

2. In the Value field, enter the content of the text message that the platform will send to a Member if they send an unknown keyword to your Short Code. The default message is: "Keyword was not recognized," but you can optionally enter a different message.

3. Click Save.

Execute Actions and Respond to Opted-Out Members

The Execute Actions and Respond to Opted-Out Members Program Setting is used to override a Member's unsubscribed status for the SMS channel, and send messages that are generated by an SMS Keyword Handler.

To enable this feature:

1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Execute Actions and Respond to Opted-Out Members setting.

2. From the Value drop-down menu, True.

3. Click Save.
